Getting started

Open the app and tap Scan a document. Point the camera at a page; it finds the edges and captures it for you. Tap the checkmark to save.

Common questions

Where are my scans saved?
Inside the app on your device. Use Save to send a copy to Files or Photos. With "Keep a copy in On My iPhone" switched on, PDFs also appear in Files › On My iPhone › Nesam Scan. On Android, PDFs are saved to Downloads › Nesam Scan and images to your Gallery, or anywhere you pick with "Save as".

Is anything uploaded?
No. There is no account and no cloud. See the privacy policy.

How do I make a PDF searchable?
Text recognition runs automatically. When saving a PDF, keep "Searchable text" switched on.

Can I protect a PDF with a password?
Yes. Choose Save, PDF, then switch on "Password protect".
